Cookie Notice
Last updated: 11 July 2026
SimplyDSE keeps this simple: we use only the cookies strictly necessary to run the service and keep you securely signed in. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a website remember things between page loads — most importantly, that you are logged in — so you don't have to sign in again on every screen.
The cookies we use
All of the cookies below are first-party (set by SimplyDSE) and strictly necessary — the platform cannot function securely without them.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication session(e.g. sb-…-auth-token) | Keeps you securely signed in and maintains your session across pages and subdomains. | Strictly necessary | Session / until sign-out |
| Session refresh token | Renews your session securely so you aren't logged out unexpectedly. | Strictly necessary | Rotating / until sign-out |
These cookies are provided through our authentication and database provider, Supabase, whose infrastructure for SimplyDSE is hosted in the United Kingdom (London).
What we don't use
SimplyDSE contains no analytics, marketing, advertising, social-media, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not share your browsing behaviour with advertisers.
Why you won't see a cookie consent pop-up
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service the user has requested (such as staying logged in) are exempt from the consent requirement. Because those are the only cookies we use, no consent banner is required. This notice is provided for transparency.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please note that blocking our strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using SimplyDSE.
