There are two different places SimplyDSE lives, and they treat cookies differently. On the signed-in platform we use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you securely logged in. On this public website we may also use analytics and advertising cookies — but only if you accept them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a website remember things between page loads — most importantly, that you are logged in — so you don’t have to sign in again on every screen.
Strictly-necessary cookies
These are first-party (set by SimplyDSE) and are used across both the website and the platform. They cannot be switched off, because the service cannot function securely without them.

The session cookies are provided through our authentication and database provider, Supabase, whose infrastructure for SimplyDSE is hosted in the United Kingdom (London).
Analytics and advertising cookies
On this public website we use Google Tag Manager to load Google analytics and advertising services. These help us understand how the site is used and measure whether our advertising is working.
These load only if you click Accept. If you reject them, or simply ignore the banner, nothing from Google is requested or stored at all — not in a limited form, not anonymously. Nothing.

These services are operated by Google, which may process data outside the UK under the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The exact cookies set depend on which Google services are active at the time; the two families above are what we use them for.
Never on the signed-in platform
Analytics and advertising tags load on this public marketing website only. They are not loaded anywhere inside the signed-in platform, and not on customer workspace addresses. Assessment activity, health information, and anything else our customers’ staff do inside SimplyDSE is never shared with an advertising network, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Your choice, and changing it
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for are exempt from consent. Everything else needs your permission first, which is why you are asked before any analytics or advertising cookie is set.
You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as accepting:
